Θέση Βοηθού Βιβλιοθηκονόμου στο UCLan Cyprus


ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
As part of the expansion of our University's successful activities we are seeking to appoint a Full Time Assistant Librarian.
Gross annual salary: up to €14.000 depending on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Have responsibility for the day-to-day provision and development of the library service.
·         Provide all academic staff and students with basic and advanced Information Literacy and IT Skills training.
·         Design, develop, recommend and produce support materials including (but not exclusively) those required for training programmes to facilitate the use of learning resources, making use of available technologies.
·         Take responsibility for cataloguing and classification, and coordinate the organization and maintenance of the collection including digitisation, processing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Degree In a Library based subject or equivalent experiential learning.
·         Experience of working In a library support environment and experience of using library management system.
·         Excellent command of both Greek and English Language.
·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OTce and large corporate databases.
·         Quick perception of the problem, positive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability.
·         Good communication skills
·         Organizational skills and good time management
